"Breakthrough"-CTEF 2024-2025 Art Contest Award Ceremony

We held the award ceremony of our annual art contest at North Bellevue Community Center on Apr 20th, 2025.
The theme of this year's art contest is "breakthrough". It is the act of breaking the boundaries between individuals and society, between reality and creativity, and crossing the barriers of cognition to step into entirely new realms. It may arise from a sudden flash of insight amid chaos, be born from a desperate counterattack in adversity, or take the form of a monumental leap that redefines human limits. A breakthrough is the starting point of transformation, the symbol of progress, and the future knocking on the door of today.
What does a breakthrough mean to you? Perhaps it is an awakening of self-awareness, a creation method never before seen, or the resurfacing of a long-buried story. It could be an abstract philosophical thought, a concrete practice, or something that exists between reality and imagination—the only requirement is that it must challenge the boundaries of the known and the unknown.
This year we have over 250 entries from US, China, and Mid-East countries. Now, we invite you to join this journey of exploration.
We shared CTEF's achievements in 2024, updated audience with new 1+1 Student Sponsorship Program. Participants also enjoyed fun archery game station. Many new programs at this year's events are new material created by our young volunteers. Big Thanks go to our volunteers!
