Did you know? It only costs:

• $1 to supply a book for the school library
• $15 to $20 to supply a set of desk and chair
• $2,500 to $3,000 to build a standard classroom
• $6,000 - $10,000 to build a single-room rural school
• $30,000 - $60,000 to build a village school that hosts 100-300 students

With $6,000 or more in donation, we will name a school after a group or individual donor(s).

BECOME A FUNDRAISING CHAMPION

Are you interested in broadening your impact and helping to bring more children back to school? Whether you are interested in helping CTEF with fundraising at your local community, among your friends and families, or at your company, we can help you become a fundraising champion, by supplying offline and online fundraising materials and helping to strategize the campaign leveraging our experience.

Fundraising activities can be varied and fun, ranging from running a marathon to organizing a fundraising birthday party. You can also partner with corporate or local communities (i.e. Chinese employee groups within a company) to broaden the awareness of CTEF.

VOLUNTEER

Your help can allow CTEF do more and help more children. Meanwhile, your experience at CTEF will help you enhance or broaden leadership and communication skills and add a new meaning to your life. For some, this is also a great way to learn about China.

We are flexible regarding your commitment level and area of responsibility. Your help can range from a few hours a year to participation as a board member. Responsibilities include marketing and PR, partnership development, management of school projects and many others, based on your interest and background.

DONOR SPOTLIGHT
